P03.02 Neoadjuvant Osimertinib with/without Chemotherapy vs Chemotherapy for EGFR Mutated Resectable NSCLC: NeoADAURA

نویسندگان

چکیده

Background: Approximately 30% of patients with NSCLC present resectable disease. Primary treatment for is curative surgery; patient prognosis following surgery alone remains poor. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy recommended in stage-III NSCLC, regardless EGFR mutation status, and has demonstrated clinical benefit. However, improved options stage II/III are needed. Recent studies indicate that EGFR-TKI therapy could potentially achieve tumour size reduction clearance micrometastases the neoadjuvant setting; effect can be assessed resected specimens.

WITHDRAWN: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy versus none for resectable gastric cancer.

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is a major cause of cancer death, and many patients are only diagnosed when the cancer has reached an advanced stage. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC), that is, chemotherapy administered shortly before surgical treatment, could provide a method of increasing the possibility of complete resection and survival. OBJECTIVES To evaluate the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherap...

Trastuzumab emtansine delays and overcomes resistance to the third-generation EGFR-TKI osimertinib in NSCLC EGFR mutated cell lines

BACKGROUND Osimertinib is a third-generation EGFR-TKI with a high selective potency against T790M-mutant NSCLC patients. Considering that osimertinib can lead to enhanced HER-2 expression on cell surface and HER-2 overexpression is a mechanism of resistance to osimertinib, this study was addressed to investigate the potential of combining osimertinib with trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) in order ...

Systems assessment of intercalated combination of chemotherapy and EGFR TKIs versus chemotherapy or EGFR TKIs alone in advanced NSCLC patients

Both chemotherapy and epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR TKIs) are widely applied for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but the efficacy of these two treatments in combination is not yet clear. Thus, we sought to evaluate the efficacy of the intercalated combination of these two treatments in NSCLC. The PubMed database, EMBASE, Cochrane Controll...

Gefitinib Treatment in EGFR Mutated Caucasian NSCLC

INTRODUCTION In the phase IV, open-label, single-arm study NCT01203917, first-line gefitinib 250 mg/d was effective and well tolerated in Caucasian patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation-positive non-small-cell lung cancer (previously published). Here, we report EGFR mutation analyses of plasma-derived, circulating-free tumor DNA. METHODS Mandatory tumor and duplicate ...

Is neoadjuvant chemotherapy necessary for patients with initially resectable colorectal liver metastases in the era of effective chemotherapy?

BACKGROUNDS/AIMS Hepatic resection has only guaranteed long-term survival in patients with colorectal liver metastasis (CRLM) even in the era of effective chemotherapy. The definite role of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NCT) is to improve outcomes of unresectable CRLMs, but it its role has not been defined for initially resectable CRLMs (IR-CRLMs). METHODS We reviewed the medical records of 226 p...
